Elizabeth Longsworth, MSW

Community Relations Director

Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from The University of West Florida, Certified Life Coach and Yoga Teacher, active member of National Association of Social Work.

Elizabeth Longsworth walks with her clients while they discover their own way. Through her inquisitive and curious approach, she assists her clients in creating integration between thoughts, emotions and the body, ultimately resulting in internal discovery and transition.

Elizabeth has a passion for connecting, guiding and serving her clients, who consist primarily of adolescents, adults and couples. She enjoys working with a wide range of individuals and families to achieve goals related to thought patterns and belief systems that may have been previously elusive, an awareness that promotes healing and personal growth. Elizabeth’s therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive behavioral with an additional focus on mindfulness practices.

Tiffany Chen is a women’s issues, substance abuse, trauma, children and adolescents counselor with a passion for seeing people overcome life’s struggles rather than feeling defeated. She aims to bring hope to what feels like hopeless situations. She partners with her patients on life’s journey in order to live their best lives. Tiffany’s heart’s desire is to come alongside others in order to help facilitate healing and wholeness.

Feel like you have lost control of your emotions, life or children? I want to be there to help you gain control and maintain balance. I work from a person centered and solution focused approach to therapy and enjoy working with teens, infants and families. Life can be hard sometimes and we all need someone to be there to help pick us up when we’re down, so let me be the one to help. 

Kristina has experience working with infant mental health, trauma, anxiety, anger, and depression. Kristina loves working with infants, teens and families.

Anne Hooton has 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor specializing in play therapy, teens/tweens, individuals, couples, marriage and LGBT. She works with her clients to fit their needs and help them improve their relationships, develop or build on coping skills, communicate more effectively, build self-esteem, improve the way they think, strop blaming others for their anger and understand their emotions. Anne can even help with dealing with bullies and standing up in front of the class bravely. Through her approach, she has helped her clients become more effective parents, find the positive in the "rainy" days of life and courage for those "anxious fears".

Hailey Currington, MSW

Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, Master of Social Work from the University of West Florida, Advanced Standing Graduate Program, BSW from the University of West Florida, National Association of Social Worker’s Member. 

Hailey Currington facilitates an environment where individuals and families can express their life stories without fear of rejection or judgment. She has experience working with diverse populations in an array of settings, which has included working with the Autism Spectrum community, school aged children, young adults, and families. She has a passion for helping others through their personal growth and strives on being a support to them through the process.

Hailey uses evidence-based approaches, including Person Centered, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Play Therapy, while tailoring each treatment to the individual’s needs.

Mariah Marshall is very passionate about her work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her goal is to assist in improving overall functioning and quality of life through the practice of counseling and psychology. Mariah is driven by assisting individuals and families to reach their goals and overcome the obstacles that life tends to place in our paths. She believes every person is unique, and her therapeutic methods emphasize the individuals and the unique nature of each person's needs, abilities and preferences while working towards a happier and wholesome life experience. 

Mariah has years of experience working with others through all walks and stages of life. She has worked in a diverse variety of settings, providing mental and behavioral health care to both individuals as well as family units. Many times we find ourselves lost and feeling hopeless, but the help to find your way is available and Mariah truly cannot wait to play a role in your self-discovery and work towards discovering a better tomorrow.

Dominique Maywald specializes in working with school age children, young adults, families and victims of trauma. Dominique utilizes the knowledge of evidence supported treatments and interventions to facilitate a change that is client directed. She takes pride in working with clients to help them achieve personal success. Dominique understands the intrinsic value of the therapeutic relationship. She treats others with respect while helping clients develop the tools to maintain their emotional hygiene. Dominque works authentically to create a space where clients can express their emotions in a judgement free environment. She takes pride in helping clients develop a healthy balance between life’s challenges and transitions.

Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. Master of Social Work from University of West Florida, BS in psychology with a minor in history. 

Kamin Rhoades has a calling to provide children, adolescents and adults of all ages with evidence-based understanding and helpful therapy in a nonjudgmental and unbiased setting. She received her bachelor’s in psychology from Texas A&M University and master’s in social work from the University of West Florida. Kamin is also a certified Texas educator for grades 7-12 and served as a high school teacher and cheerleading coach. 

A member of the Association of Play Therapy, she is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and believes therapy should be fun while beneficial. To accomplish this, she uses an eclectic approach that can include play, music, art, games, books and more. Kamin strives to tailor treatment around the uniqueness and personal goals of her clients.

Mary Rollo, MSW

Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. Master of Social Work and Master of Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida, BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, currently a third-year doctorate student in Curriculum and Instruction and actively pursing a Master's Degree for Behavior Analysis, Education Specialist's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Mary feels as though she was a social worker long before she ever got her degree. Mary defines her style as more integrative and eclectic in order to best suit the needs of her clients. She has worked with almost all populations and is able to find modalities that work best for each client. She prefers CBT with a focus on psychoeducation and behavior modification. She has experience with at-risk males and females, couples, teens, individuals and families. Mary states her goal as, "Helping others by navigating through emotions and difficult choices, with the hope that peace and strength will empower those on the other side to continue to make the best life choices for themselves."

Christina Sledge’s passion is providing a safe and non-judgemental environment for her clients to explore themselves and their struggles. During visits with Christina, clients are taught coping skills to deal with not only unwanted feelings, but also everyday life. She works with children (ages 6+), adolescents and adults, utilizing an eclectic therapeutic approach and adjusting according to each client's specific needs.

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. Master of Counseling and Psychology, Clinical Mental Health. Certified Life Coach.

Lina Stephens is a native to Central European Hungary who was recruited to attend the University of West Florida (UWF) on a tennis scholarship. She spent her youth playing professional tennis in Europe, finishing her athletic career as a proud member of UWF’s nationally ranked team. Having been a professional athlete and tennis coach for many years, Lina became aware of the mind-body connection that has transformed into her passion. She now lives this passion through counseling and life coaching. 

With years of experience working with various populations, as part of an integrative counseling approach, she believes that self-awareness is the cornerstone of future healing. She sees determination as the key to having the courage to remove the bandage that is keeping emotional and psychological injuries at bay and unable to heal. Lina offers a welcoming, safe and judgement-free environment for any client, including children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples and families who are seeking restoration of their inner sense of balance.

As a therapist and licensed clinical social worker, Kenneth Todd receives the greatest reward when he sees his clients challenge themselves in ways that demonstrate a motivation for radical change in their lives, allowing them to find hope for a better future. Kenneth is a child and adolescent counselor who uses his experience and compassion to provide his clients’ with a foundation of lifelong mental health and wellbeing.

Kenneth has experience with nonviolent crisis intervention, suicide prevention, role play, and directive and non-directive play therapy techniques.

April Walker, MS, PhD

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Services with specialization in Social and Community Services. Certified school counselor for pre K-12.

April Walker is a child, adolescent, adult and family counselor with extensive professional mental health experience in a variety of settings, including residential, foster care, public and charter schools. She has played an integral role in client advocacy, outreach and counseling, with a background that spans from more than 13 years in behavioral therapy, case management and school counseling. 

Through her work, she has become extremely passionate about working collaboratively with individuals in their efforts of building and maintaining positive health and wellness. April’s treatment approach is eclectic in nature, as she recognizes the differences in individuals and believes that it is critical to incorporate techniques that are personally tailored to each client. As an experienced and compassionate professional with competency in multicultural counseling, April’s goal is to provide a level of support that promotes the psychological well-being of every individual and maintain an environment that is conducive to positive change and growth.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from the University of Louisiana at Monroe 

Suzonne is an family therapist with experience helping individuals and families find solutions to a wide array of presenting problems. She specializes in working with: teenagers and adults struggling with self esteem issues, depression, anxiety, and loss of hope; couple and families struggling with, relationship issues, family stressors, blended families, and parenting/co-parenting issues. She believe the most effective and efficient way to help is to involve other members of their family so that the family reinforces any program of change. She embraces an optimistic and caring perspective while helping her clients best achieve their mental health goals.

Ginger Woods has experience working with diverse populations, such as inpatient adult psychology, children, adolescents, families and couples. She provides services in school, home and office settings. Ginger uses evidence based approaches – including person centered, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy – to tailor each treatment based on the individual’s needs and goals.
